Look in my mirror and you will see what I see You then can see the man that you will always be Go ahead. Take the mirror from my offering hand Hold it up to your face and see how you look as a man It will show you what is beneath the skin and the hair My mirror will show you your heart that is always there When I look over your shoulder, I can see all that too I see your creativity, your talent and all that you do I see your kindness and the wise words you speak Look in my mirror and you can see what I see I see a man who writes wonderful poetry I see a man who has been only a friend to me I see a man that talks to me always so tenderly But, if you look in your mirror, it just shows you the dark It has boxed up your life into tiny pieces and parts It is broken and now will only show you one side It doesn’t show you the pieces that you so often hide But, look in my mirror and see yourself there Your mirror has blinders; my mirror shows that you care. aziza |

Wow, what a reflection of inner knowledge, all is on the inside and like a mirror we capture before we reflect. thank you for this wonderful poem. |
