lady pretending boude'
get him to rag her out of it
make nice to her

charcoal man takes her
in jon boat
rain crow hollerin’
say it’s fixin’ to rain
sky tells a different story

lady lazes
cotton skimpy
hair sweated
silk fan
red blue
slow

hot
lady whimpers
charcoal man fills Panama
bathes bebette
  ca c’est bon
  ain?

cotton skimpy sticks
lady shows freesôns
tries hard
but giggle comes
out mouth

charcoal man
cooks up little storm song
in jon boat
makes lady nice

bird still jawing away

I keep thinking that I am going to stop reading for the night and come back tomorrow, but a little voice keeps whining, "oh just one more please". So, I give in to that little voice and move to the next chapter.
