He lays her down
on crown of clovers
smooth the ground
wet with the shimmers of dew

kissed by two

desires union
under twilight stars

the distance now seems so far

as fingers lightly trace the scar
the past disappears
as his soul spins
in her embrace

lingers in touch
softly caressing her face

surrender quietly
when sandman comes

rest still in the darkness
while dreaming, as one.

I surrender dear
let slumber encompass us
sleeping in content

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
