In a miss spent youth not knowing what to do
I played a dangerous game the facts are hard and true
As finally from drugs I had to pull myself through.

Like a fish drowning in fathoms of deep blue
My mind goes to the day that I foolishly chose you
Like the pure white jade that is left unbroken
This white tainted powder, what is it evoking

As more evil words are what gets spoken
As all too often it is with my life that I am joking
All drugs damage you, right up from simple smoking
Like the destruction of my integrity and all precious things
What is the truth, well, what did drugs, really bring?

The pawning and hocking, of every precious thing
The changing from truth to every form of lying
Eyes that are haunted and red from all the crying
All the precious time, that is spent on denying
So what is this song that I am left to sing?
Don’t be ignorant and continue, in this senseless suffering

This truly sheds a light i have become blind to. so many say that drugs are nothing and that addiction is a myth. Fact is, everyone who says that ends up this way.

I am the two-toed wanderer

this purely fuses, to me, spiritual maintanence...affirming life supports healing, working together with awareness, emotional and physical health...this speaks to the inner soul of whomever reads...embodies the reality and importance of facing the winds...

Good Jobber...adding, you were very fortunate to have overcome and transcend...BRAVO!!!!!!
