The Rented Rowboat

Like rented craft must always do,
the smallish skiff
tenders to the lake its secret.
On calm days
it whispers from the bow
as wondrously the dark surface
slips down both sides. Eavesdropping,
from where I sit, I think of silk
and southern whiskey,
not to mention the equally smooth and expressive
parting of a woman's thighs.
Staring back, a rower's want,
a nude beach
shouts PRIVATE.

Beautiful...and while "as always" seems
mundane, let's just say I always expect

Hmmm! Can't say that I personally have ever thought of rowing a boat in quite the same manner as you have so adeptly and sensuously described it!
