White Space

Something concealed from my eyes
Provokes in tincture of iodine zeal
Chaos that flashes slotted views
Callusing my mind as I attempt revision
Pouring out etched remnants of together

That life is boundless, an adventure
Thwarted only by the limits self imposed
Speaking not of consideration or compassion
But by doing and feeling, craft and fabric
Religion is a surrogate thread to destiny

Calligraphy or doodle of whim
Written in verse, or prose to ponder
Sent forth preemptive of an actual step
Where light fondles the horizon slowly
Guarding footstep and precipice alike

Here I write, regarding distance as time
Leaving traces of myself upon a page
Making promises unbroken and barriers un-felled
Yet when I read the wisdom of my seeking
Here I find white space where I intended love

Kathleen~

With thoughts like this -

'light fondles the horizon slowly'

- you color the white space poetically perfect~

TD:
Profound words you have penned here.
Love can be construed in the interpretation:
Where nothing said indeed is gain, if it is truly understood.
As in: “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.”

Good to read you again.
Beautiful write TD.

"Leaving traces of myself upon a page"
I love this.
I read the love in the white spaces, don't you?

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I have read this 3 times and still find more beauty in it, then the read before...craftily penned!
