5611 Living Dead 15 August 2006 To live a life a life of the living dead A morbid existence and in that all said Who created God who stole man’s existence Was this reality or to overcome a hunger inside Not to die, but to want to die not to live, yet living to love For where was the shadow that darkness of a home To live a life and be the living dead pain mistaken for joy to triumph An existence, a blank page to compose every tune a rip, tearing away a soul “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.” Ecclesiastes 9: 4-5 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

So at last I know what my poem was about then there is always a little darkness waiting to block out the light, even if only for the short term a poet who cares |
