Some Symbols

All symbols walk a world alone
And never touching flesh and bone
They spirit in a world of claim
All are different and none the same

They are the sails that catch the air
And play the wizards of our dare
Riding phantoms through the night
Changing white to colored light

They alter all the paths we go
With filigree of things we know
Changing meanings so it seems
Often stay the heart of dreams

They are a lasso thrown in space
To catch the very head of grace
And sew the armor of our shawl
Or be the bell of mental ball

They are the short cut of the bend
A quicker way to reach the end

The "S" in Seymour is synonomous with "Symbol".

There is sacred geometry and the secrets of the Rosetta Stone and the Dead Sea Scrolls, in every stroke of your illustrious pen.

Seymour~

You lead me to the cliff of verse
then send me leaping to pure poetic joy~
Word-spiraling, wings open to slow the descend
as I reach back to read you again~

Have I told you lately
that you are STILL my favorite read aloud poet ?

WELL ... you are !!!
