-I just wanted to share a little experience I had with my nephew Jon today who is 7 years old and will be starting 2nd grade, I don't really know what I'm trying to express, other than children are life...and if you have them cherish them, for they grow up way too fast.

Lately,
Something has had me think about all the little things
that mean so much to me.
As far as I can remember, life never really gave me...
A free lunch.
So I cherish all of the simple memories in my life
And I hope Jonny will too.
Because I took him shopping today
And we bought some jeans
Just what he wanted, and they made him feel so good.
And it brought tears to my eyes,
because I know that this little guy
deserves more than just jeans
He deserves more love, more attention..
Than the little bits he gets.
So hopefully,
and I know he will...
everytime he puts on his jeans
He will think of me,
and know how very much I love him!
