I remember –but not of you-- ask me what you look like I no longer know -- how can I explain these things I do tending to memories rather than life. Though you no longer do exist whole in me, still I remember –feelings never go-- I feel the heart knows what I no longer do You’ve moved on without me -- but I’m never alone we’re together in a world of our own. I once asked you what was your perfect dream, ”Standing in a field covered in snow -- with someone I love and that loves me” yet I can’t remember what was mine, But I do remember something I did say -- ”In heaven we will be together I promise” lets hope god understands. I remember –letting you go-- what heart bleeds to save another Somehow I know your out there -- with someone else who can hold you because I never could, I no longer know where my smile is -- how can I explain these things I do tending to memories rather than life. |

Memories are priceless and also somewhat haunting at times. I am thankful that I have them...though there are some that I might rather do without...Perhaps those are the ones that build character? Enjoyed the read, thank you. |

Memories can keep up warm long after the flame has gone it. If we understood ourselves better, then perhaps we would have a better understanding of love. Love & Loving, EA |
