 Artist: Chiu Never Alone ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ Storm clouds swirled and gathered, As the light of my days did wane. Raindrops and tears were streaming, Down sides of cracked window pane. A blanket of sorrow engulfed me. ~ Surrounding me deep in sadness. I had lost all sight of the Holy Light, And was sinking in a sea of madness. Where, oh, where, had my Beacon gone? I was bewildered and knew not the way. I no longer lived in a world warm and bright, ~ Now my days were damp, dark, and gray. I felt as tho’ God had abandoned me, As my trials continued to mount. All I could see were the mountains ahead. ~And my blessings, I did not count. As my essence was ebbing away, ~Whilst drowning in darkest hour, A Light pierced the tumultuous skies, Surging my soul with His Power. My spirits rose up to blue heavens, As He lifted my burden of sorrows. He declared He had not left my side, And would remain for all my tomorrows. God said it was I who had left Him, By not trusting all would be well. Tho' there be lessons to learn in life, It is Man who makes his own hell. I painted the skies with dark palette, Which blocked the Light from my view. When I despaired, I then opened my eyes, And His Beacon of Light shone through. Never again shall I doubt His Love, Nor believe that I am all on my own. For God continues to watch over me, And I know I am never alone. I'm sorry but OMG this is one of those times I really needed this..I'm sitting here crying and I stumble upon this..aww sweet Linda you are a strong loving soul! I wish I were strong and optimistic as you are now..I've lost sight...I'm crawling out of my hole...but it seems like I'll never get out...If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

Ceinwyn ~ Keep on crawling out of that proverbial dark hole and out into the light of day. It pains me to know that you are suffering so. I do, however, also know that your spirit is so strong that you will beable to rise out of the Dark and into the Light. You will metaphose into a butterfly! ~ flying free and unfettered. I believe your 'dark night of the soul' will soon be behind you and everything in your life will appear much brighter. Out of the dark and into the Light, my sweet friend!
