Felt Like A Knife Being Twisted Overwhelmed in the devastation Shocked to the innermost core Is the returned email telling me That I was not needed anymore Email returns address unknown I wish there was an explanation Now I do not know what to think I emailed to the right destination Thoughts I wanted them to know My concern I wished to express Why had my mail been returned He had written from this address The fact was he wrote month ago So I know that this email existed If its their way of saying goodbye It felt like a knife is being twisted I do wonder why it happened now Is there reasons I will never know Losing the contact after ten years My heart feels the devasting blow Hope©2006 Link to the poem with music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/101/poem_8353983.html |
