Isn't it true    ends are beginnings
in the beautiful and relentless cycle
that moves yet stays still?
Oceans and moons pulse with it.

Such circles have a center
and in mine is this moment,
wrapped up in wonder
of the thoughts that light me up.

It is magic how this works,
and the building of it
so intimate and complicated
that I'm sure it must be simple.

ahhh yes, there she is, spinning her glorious fiber of poem, and yes indeed it is
magnificant, complicated, yet in its simplicity must be on a grand scale of universal invention...this was devine Martie

Dear Martie, I love a poem where a poet puts a lot of thought into the writing of their poem. You did great. Below is a quote from the great Ogala Sioux Black Elk. You just might of known each other in another life.
Dave

Everything the Power Of The World does is done in a circle. The sky is round and I have heard that the earth is round Like a ball and so are the stars. The wind, in its greatest Power, whirls. Birds make their nests in circles, for theirs is The same religion as ours. The sun comes forth and goes Down again in a circle. The moon does the same and both Are round.  Even the seasons form a great circle in their Changing and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood.
And so it is in everything where power moves.

Black Elk, Ogala Sioux    1863-1950

Profound...

yes, a good word to describe this, sissie.

Seems that the most "simple" of things
take on a complexity of their own...

....and every meteor was going round and round...until this round and selfishly gravitic world drew it in and destroyed it.

Or was it destroyed? It still exists, but as part of something bigger now, something bigger that is....going round....and all of that's a cycle too, one that included a beautiful flash across the sky.

You prove, once again, what I have always known ...
the glow of your inner-light can, and does, leave a dynamic afterglow~

Thank you for being such a magnetic orb of poetic phrasing~

Martie,

I agree. That is what makes it so beautiful... Nice muse.

Martie - magic is so simple when one knows and understands the tricks and there are always tricks to every trade.
