Who Loves You?

Very still, she sits on his lap
curled up against him as she writes.
Looking up with a smile and
love in her eyes, she asks,
"Who loves you?" she asks
Who loves you?
Quiet times like these are special.
Sharing thoughts and feelings and dreams.
His arms are wrapped tight.
His chest holds her head upright.
His fingers stroke her skin as he asks,
"Who loves you?" he asks.
Who loves you?
Words are few on nights like these,
the joy is being together and sharing
a special time.Sharing a love that grows.
Who loves you? Who loves you?
We do.
