Downsized It would be so much simpler to move into one room of my house I think I could do that, drag necessities down the hall, throw things away, scrap plants and knick-knacks crowd the rest I might get used to the cramp in time; make it home in a way anyway But tell me how to do this, how to start: What portion of my soul must I throw away? What part of my spirit can I salvage, force together, crowd down into what is left and make a home in less of you? How will I ever press my love into this smaller, this less? (The Weed, No. 8) |

Your "weeds" are hard to read because they epitomize hurt... but they should be required reading because they epitomize fantastic poetry. *S* |
