In the Valley

In the valley of life I range
Within the sea of interchange
Sailing in a wondrous sea
Upon the tide of all that be

I thought at first, all was chaos
A stew of soup of the cosmos
But rhythm beat a paths imply
And wove it neat this thread of why

It greased the axle of the wheel
And soothed the senses of appeal
It took the anger and the roar
And placed a soul within the core

It fixed the stars to shine at night
Affixed the sun to give us light
Making land and sea to fruit
The brute, the moot and joy and flute

It is the firmament of change
The Eden of my roam and range

Mr. T., you are an integral part of the wondrous sea. I enjoy reading your poems on the tides of life. May you forever roam Eden's Valley playing your magical flute.

Loving Light,
Linda

Masterfully done, as ever! I absolutely adored the line:

"A stew of soup of the cosmos"

Such a profound and unusual way of looking at the universe; complete with a kind of low-key humour. Brilliant.
