We came here together, yet I'm still alone, You can't hear me through my tears, And this music isn't loud enough to drown my thoughts, Because I miss you, and your standing right next to me, Choking back to fake a smile, Welling up with things I should say, The day isn't long enough for the both of us, And I don't want the nights to end, Will this be another tragic ending to add to my collection, A beautiful display of the many times I've fallen down, I'm sorry you hide your hands, And I'm sorry thats the way you've always been, You pull away when I pull you near, Adding another inch to the distance that separates us, The ink has run dry and the tears spell the words You will add to the box of the things you don't want to hear, It's not that important right? It's just something you choose not to deal with, Am I so easily pushed aside, Is it that you don't care at all? My ears ring from this silence I close my eyes and wish it all away... I see me frowning in your eyes... |

lonelyness can be a symtom of a greater problem in ones self or in another or even in the two. You write well. I am the two-toed wanderer |

Very very sad poem A. L I truly hope its just a poem and not something that is happening to you. Quote for you. It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere. Agnes Repplier |
