Was The Truth Being Denied Thoughts I needed to write In giving my pen the task While words begin to flow Questions I need to ask You were one I had trusted With this heart given link The key is communication I hoped it made you think Since you left me guessing I read between each line Something I need to clarify Your words did not define Above the line I read of love Until I read the in between Reason for communicating Is to write what you mean You hoped I was doing okay I know you wished me well Have I read a goodbye letter It remains to difficult to tell I keep reading over and over What had the letter implied Question without any answer Was the truth being denied Hope©2006 Link to the poem with music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/101/poem_8352998.html |
