Filled with the fear of coming to grips And knowing that your gone Remembering the time we had And the night you said so long The instant my heart stopped When I heard of the news That you just might not make it And I kneeled in the pews Helpless in that lobby Wondering what to do The only thought within my head Was wanting to be with you To talk to you that day Only a few hours before And the sight of your mom In that hospital door Nobody really knew How I really felt about you Until I stood there hugging your mom As she told me the news She said I was the last one You had talked to that day The day you met an awesome God That day you went away And as I sat in the church Just a few days after I realized all you’ve done Was start another chapter So many times ive wanted To come and visit you To talk to you once again And tell you that I love you Youll always be remembered For makin people smile And you memory will be in my heart For forever and a while |
