Mosquito Lament Sometimes I slip into words and just write when I feel a little blue When I am tired and just cranky ~ sometimes I can feel them soothe. But not today, they can't and won't. I fear I just need some rest. I really tried to sleep last night, but a mosquito was a pest. It buzzed about my head so fast and I knew it would take a bite I lay and waited as I read, finally turning on all the lights. I could not get it. I really tried. It began to make me really mad. The dogs ran and hid under the bed thinking they were bad. It didn't end and I didn't sleep and now my head is filled with cotton. I keep on thinking I'll wake up; but the day's over and my mood is rotten. I am going soon and I will get my book and lay upon my bed. I will read and just relax and while trying to clear my head. But if I hear one little bug, I know I will go insane! I just want to rest and get some sleep and let time recharge my brain. aziza |
