It is so very easy to stop caring, to put our own "needs" above those of someone who loves us...and then to create some kind of justification for why we just had to do or say something that was, if we were honest about it, very selfish and small. It always does damage, and sometimes it can end a love that should have gone on and on. It can take only a moment to fall into the trap, or it may take a year, but the result is the same. |
