Permission To Live Mourn not for me any longer Let the bagpipes cry out in their last breath Give the resting doves their freedom, I’ve arrived to home, And eternal rest. I know how heavy your heart remains, And I know how much you loved. But the time has come to breathe once again For I’m home, And I’ve earned my rest. There are new hearts on the horizon for you. There are dreams to cast at the starlit night sky, And I will touch each one, so you know you’ve my blessing. From here at home, Where I forever rest. To every time, there is a season, And my season passed last summer’s birth, But yours, my lady fair, is just begun And I watch from home Where I rest. |
