A Chimera of Consciousness You can weep on my shoulder, but don't think I care at all when you cry over lost love. You only feed my jealousy for those tears are a heresy that I cannot match. I have at lost all ability and sum of my empathy, I'm empty as such. I stubbed out my old dismay, a cigarette in an ashtray and I can't find a light. I no longer feel on my own so I'll take your loan; your pain's a drug. I am a chimera of consciousness and the surrogate of sensation, living through vicarious vitriol. Inexorably empty... I LOVED this piece. Hurrah for good old-fashioned vitriol!! Seriously though the language was marvellous; I particularly liked the metaphor of stubbing out a cigarette on an ashtray (yeah, I'm trying to give up...it's not really happening) Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh, and the Bowie reference in your sig...I salute thee! They aren't flaps; they're my face! |

You weave words well. I like how you write and there are times that I want to stamp out dismay too. |

LT... A bit of salt, a little wound the sting is... be well, and write more soon. |
