Good Enough For Me Sometimes, I still feel like drinking, I still feel like feeling you, bad habits I left behind way back in a place where light came through. So when it gets dark, it's natural to lean towards wanting to feel the things that caused me pain; at least I'd know something's real. But "no", I say as I walk on by the beer and grab a coke instead, "no", as I walk by the scent of you and simply shake my head. Yes, it's hard, but not as hard as I had expected it to be, sometimes I still feel like feeling and that's good enough for me. |

Dixie, My thoughts are a bit erratic this morning, but you are simply amazing at putting your thoughts into verse! I see such heart through the painful things you've written and gotten past. Then, I look at that picture of you and your daughter together, and I have to smile too. A definite tie that binds between you two.
