5580 Knight of the Moon 03 August 2006 As the floodgates open upon a magical world A place of love and lightening to strike this amour and where it stands heavenward to promise An entry, a toll paid that fee of eternity This love of feeling a deafness never silent As across a globe the sun does indeed shine A lamp light of faith upon a darkened void For love was charity faith was in her to savour This day of being, a reign of passion words, or understanding Either way, all simply carried upon the knight of the moon “Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalms 148: 3 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
