(waking up is hard to do)

full spectrum of nutritional needs
easy day
taps her sensory, on my window
I don’t want to move
moaning
“hey, I’m the tenant here!”

she photo copies my tattered words
like I’m a sweet-smelling patient
consumed by her garden
her lighted-hearted calculus
of clandestine glances
gifts the inclusion
of antidepressants
her social work
consumed with starting the day

branded by
a momentary lapse of confidence
flicking eyes over her pages
of tireless
morning promotions
I am unaware
of the library giving out free mugs
around the corner where
my mind goes to dream

flexing muscles of rebellious attacks
double fudged a chocolate mousse
triggering comparisons of wonder
like names that fit in, where I pretend
to be smart, just so God scatters His
final exams to the far reaches
of my mixed emotions…
wolfing down the whole orchestra that
requires no bribery
on the part of His beginning day

why its downright arrogant
reminding my life
of His critical sources of inspiration
whispering secrets of the free masons

the corner of my eyes
strain to open
while my inner ear
soaks up every
cerebral piece of fruit
I don’t want to give up
this day or
waste any faces
of coin
in my pocket
which an affectionate woman
bubbled about
last evening
on the phone (wink)

I remember reading her wide-eyed smiles
(thank you special woman of light)

I know of the IV
of delivery, coming soon
where every human being
will be
taking a driving test,
soon
consisting of far more
then “I” learned in school

mmmmm,
aromatic fingers of hazelnut
lovingly flips my nose
the radio playing
cultural pop music
while
Shakespeare
carries me out of bed
with his assault pack of

“The Comedy of Errors”

telling me of angels of light
spoon feeding me
"this day’s opening bright"

I smile while taking my shower
recalling his parting words

quote:

“We came into the world like brother and brother
Now, lets go hand in hand, not one before the other”

dedicated to a special poet
owning enthusiasum, light & love

thanks so much Lady!

Lee~
This beautiful piece contains so many creative thoughts~
Gonna have a hard time keeping it from becoming my all-time favorite of yours~
There is a softness of reality that reaches out and touches everyone in a different way~
I'm touched~

What can one say of this display?
You certainly don't need a tuning fork.

Waking up may be difficult but writing seems to come pretty easy for you
