5572 Aspirant to Amour 31 July 2006 Her beauty was a night her day a dream This open window for love to out stream Found and found out the light of a distant wind For here was a foundation that cement to pour upon hope As if the control was beyond redemption then where was the redeeming one That light so shining as if the universe was one moon Heaven and hope destiny and unity The touch of a hand words aspirant through love “Behold, there are many called, but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen? Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world, and aspire to the honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson— That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness.” Doctrine and Covenants 121: 34-36 © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

love is a good thing to aspirate, so says brother stone! but i don't understand why you put a bible verse on it. maybe to make me think more, or maybe because you just like them. either way that is good! |

I don't know why brother stone thinks love is akin to vomitus. Neither do I know why he thinks "Doctrine and Covenants 121: 34-36" is a bible verse. What I do know ... it is good to aspire to love! In fact, one need not even aspire to love. One needs only to love. ~*~ aspire not loved one love abounds, surrounding you you were made for love Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |
