Among the river praised by the woods, the lone stone beside the snow stood fallen before the dawn before the night’s end; I’m to sleep ‘till the hour mourning in the sun, keeling in the wind to the great Mother’s sky reborn into the universe beyond the flesh washing down as the stream-- never but once to know why. |
