Winter tree frozen
standing straight, standing tall
arms reaching to offer a haven
A place for one to rest.
Ice laden arms giving yet again
sharing what they have.
Winter tree do you see the beauty
of the frozen lands?
Do you feel the cold nip at your soul
or are you sustained with
the warmth of love?

In the depth of late winter,
through the gray mists and
heavy sky of waiting crystals,

sometimes the sun

peeks...

and the winterbound tree
explodes in diamond glory
with the promise of

soon.
