Where goes it the love for my mother and brothers Where goes it the intelligence of my brothers And the feelings of safety and fear of monsters Where do my memories of childhood dreams go And the thoughts I had held dear so long, where do they go Are they lost in my adolescent mind Where will my adolescent mind go when it is lost Lost to the grown up mind I despise already Where goes the feeling of family I am so long awaiting that feeling to return I hope I can make it on my own some day much better And when my hair is cut and my eyes are closed Let me see farther and more clearly to the end The child is never dead, I am still the child inside Just smarter and wiser than when I remember And I the child still wish and dream for things For a family again and a love that dreams are made for And to find out where it all goes to someday Someday I will and when I do let me sit and say them The words I searched for long On a bed that’s cold and dry and circled by love I will sleep there forever I am the two-toed wanderer |

Stunning piece. Tying childhood and death together (at least that's what I read into it; call me morbid) was so poignant. The whole poem really touched my heart somehow. Where black, bleeding roses await the Thirteen, |

Beautiful but sad. Enjoyed the read. :-) Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, |
