Peacemakers fight back
  with war rules of engagement.
Tit-for-tat times ten.

Oh, how ironic
  reverberating the sounds,
methods of madness.

Drop the weapons, please.
Drop to your knees and forgive.
Embrace your sameness.

But we are too weak,
  we never learn our lessons.
Ignorant mankind.

Our time is wasted
  circling around the same points.
We must veer off course.

Beyond the boxes,
  outside the circles and traps,
Infinity waits.

Unfortunately power currupts the already currupt even further so the chance of the powerfull peace makers to find a land of infinity is slim to none. but perhaps we all should find it on our own, seprate from it all.

Fighting for peace is an obvious oxymoron that nations don't seem to recognize as a dreadful exercise in futility.  Helping other countries financially only buys their resentment.  What can be done?

Very thought provoking poem, Kacy.

Enjoyed your post,
Shenachie

matt, we always start at home
and you, m'friend, have such a keen mind
and a warm heart, it's a real pleasure to be
on the same page with you

Bridget, thank you very much, again.
It makes me feel that I'm releasing the right words, when I read and FEEL a reply such as yours.

And to what end, Kacy? Thank you
for this.

Words that soar but to deafened ears it seems,
and not in one nation ... no,
infinitly mankind will pay itself times 100,000,000,000,000 ...

If ever we come to grips,
Hands Across The World ... I would be glad to stand beside you!
