A Crisis in the Middle East

All day the news replays the war.
It is impossible to ignore.
It’s old news--new news like before.
There never was peace to restore.
Terrorism spreads with all its gore
And makes this crisis something more
Than it was in days of yore
Before terror made the world heartsore.

will there ever be peace in the Middle East...seems likes its gone on forever and like it will keep on going on.
Thank you for sharing this with everyone. Very sentimental and true.

"There never was peace to restore"

It's something we must seek daily, hoping that we find some moments of it within our lifetime.
thanks for a thoughtful write.

You've encapsulated a human's time on earth...
through all centuries...

very well!
