A mind that goes into reverse
whenever forward becomes too strained
has difficulty putting into words
the worry that's inner brained.

Sensing there's nothing to lose
when losing had nothing gained.
But I'm here stalking the numbers
and the wordings unexplained.

I even have those dreams,
waking up to an answering call.
One that doesn't exist
but whose meaning allows me to fall.

"Taking it personal" it said,
if my memory serves me right,
but the gift of me is old fashioned
as I write my reflections each night.

I am branded with the negative,
splitting my pain in two.
"There's a light at the end of the tunnel"
but only when shared... with who?

Perhaps when tomorrow comes
the answer lies in the "wait"
reminding myself to be patient
for dreams to become real in create.

Thanks Marge.. you make me smile. I had a very long week of a college course...but one which hopefully, if I do my assignments correctly, will get me from "here to there".

I'm still waiting. But, my friend, I am sure you will have done fine. Only if we had someone to share that journey to the end with, we would reach that light alot quicker.

Your words reflect so much whether negative or positive. But I so enjoy the positive. I try to keep up on my reading at PIP but so few times have I stopped to comment on what I have read. My life as of late is the reason why. But not enough reason to avoid saying that your thoughts are wonderful and I wait to read more..
