standing on a shadow's lace

Monday

blue was the color of another day
and I found myself not understanding October
I ran without reservation to sovember
driven to a place beyond the edge
lucid pine upon air it didn’t know
in a moon that shot a thousand nights
electric fireflies wailed across the sky
in a night that fled unforgiving
green is your color
as you slowly plant Monday

just some words cut from
the diary of my heart

Dear 1slick_lady, I have read and read, it is magical when you can make the reader do this, you sound in a daze and unknowing your wants and needs, green may be the where the grass is greener and where Monday is planted a new ( to start a new) October and November, confusing times and maybe where everything went wrong.
I hope all goes right for you my friend, that you find your way through the maze of life and find that each new week brings joy.
Be well and take care.

Sincerely
Rick

Incredible!!! I truly envy your ability to paint such startling, solid images with just a few simple words. The mark of a true artist.

I see not the stars, but the darkness between
