From loves lost and found again
In the summer of my heart and body
I am so saddened by them
One wants happiness but the other cant obtain
The love so true my heart desires my body can’t sustain
I should have sought them in the school time
But then my voice is silent for a teacher
And my eyes are fixed upon a page
So put inside a cage
I long to find her as she finds me a man
And do with her what I will her trill
And when warm wind blows I think of her
And when flowers seen bloomed I think of her
So when hours grow long I think of her
Then when writing of love I think of her
Sad, I know it is not to be

I am the two-toed wanderer

I want this....

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

your love muse
pours passionate words
from your heart,
spills them
into the blue

may she surround you
for an eternity

The ache of love
spills from your poetic pen.
Well done.
Hugs~Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.
