Yesterday didn't feel so good
today my thoughts grew anxious
tomorrow I know will get better
because I know
that you'll be there on the other end
I don't mean to let
things grasp
and choke my dreams
You still hold me
You still love me
as I stand before you
with blood stained knees
it took me so long
to realize
that you were always there
I'm sorry
for not listening
I'm sorry
for running away
I thought I knew
what I was doing
I was determined
that I was okay
I drowned myself
in negativity laced
with God
I heard the angels
frequency
but too scared
that I was insane
if I admitted that
I felt their touch
as I stood outside
looking in at you
while crying
in the pouring rain
But you still held out your hand
you still loved me
regardless
of my insecurities
I'm still a work in progress
and not once did you ever judge me
I stand vunerable
drunk with fear
yesterday I didn't feel the same
today my heart grew insecure
tomorrow I know will get better
because you will be there...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
