The Concrete Bridge

In the heart of Michigan
in Chief Wasso's humble town
runs a river filled with mudd
just a pit of scum and muck

But underneath that murky water
runs a clear stream of pure light
filled with catfish and the such
swimming in the clean,clear sea

And still over that is a bridge
built of stone and grey concrete
it's underbelly rusted over
spray painted with the stoner's creed

And it's in the rafters of this bridge
that lies a rustic piece of art
so elegant and yet so odd
it represents the dark side of life

Telling tales untold before
but worthy still of the time
for people took the time to write
and build their stories from the muck

So here I am to tell their tales
standing under this grafitied bridge
with knowing eyes and open ears
speaking for the past not said

I really couldn't think of more to write at the moment because I wrote it at around 2:10 p.m., but I guess I could finish it or write a sequel for it. Thanks for the taking the time to read it.

I'd be willing to bet, this bridge is for real and is spray painted by the stoner's creed.

and what of the dark side of life, tattooed on it's belly?

you could take this right into a very interesting story...

wow, simply wow, loved this...
