A glistening star was lost today,
A heart has slowly vanished
The memory became to hard to bear, for what we had was more than fear

You were my sight
You were my soul,
You were the love that held me so.

Take my tired wings,
Rest my tired soul
Let me die the way he did,
Drown me in a hole.
Don’t make me an angel,
Let me go to hell
Let me suffer like he did,
Then you can pay as well.

I’m longing for the end
Watch the pain drown my eyes
because there is nothing left of me
& brand new day will never make this end.

I guess this is one of the saddest poems i have ever wrote. Early this year i was faced with the loss of a loved one, he ment everything to me and today is the first time i have been able to share with anbody the way i felt. But i can say now that i have moved on and life seems to be back on track once again.

writing is such good therapy
I'm glad you could share
I do the same thing, I hoard them until
whatever is bothering me is over, then
share them

Personally, I know that writing it out does help.
Especially sharing here at Passions.
Everyone is very caring and helpful.

Heart hugs to you~Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

Yes, writing out such sadness
has a healing power to it...

and we, the ones left behind,
who know this very ache
are the very same who reach out
to you...with understanding.

Be well...and write on.
