And now my love for you will never die
I say these words I do not cry them out
But in a whisper in my mind, I try
For the whole thought reasons, I love without
Answers and wise words romantically said
Nor comparing to sunsets or flowers
Nor is my wish for us two to the bed
I wish for us two to sit and live hours
I wish for three words so simply said
Whispered by you in the time before dawn
I wish in your eyes to tell me truer
I wish that your words would tell me the truth
I know you do love me because it’s true
I know you do love me because it’s you

I am the two-toed wanderer

Hi Matthew,

Indeed this is a beautiful whisper, especially when two can talk and live the hours....

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding
