To my Friend ... Living in a home filled with pain a body that fails him time and again drawing strength from his last reserve knowing that pain is not a master he'll serve Fueled by the need to again be strong sometimes dwelling on all that's gone wrong sleeping a sleep filled of dreams of the damned wondering how much more of this he can stand Reaching deep within his very soul each ragged breath takes its painful toll hanging tightly to every fiber of his being even in restless sleep his watchful eyes are seeing How I wish I could make him well and take him from this living Hell hoping he knows how much I do care thanking him for the gifts of words that he shares He has opened a door to be my friend and it is a friendship that has no end for I'll be around as long as he can stand to see me standing with an out stretched hand From your friend aziza |

Aziza, That is a beautiful write and your friend is very lucky to have someone who cares so much.If there is one thing I have learned its to stand strong for your friends and help them when they fall. For they will be there with their all when you need a helping hand. Stay strong and prayers fly your friends way from here. Danie |

Great poem. I try to be that kind of friend as well. Ben “We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson |
