Today I feel like laughing
though nothing is the cause
I feel like playing memories
that I can rewind and pause.

I feel like making more today,
doing things called silly
to see other people smile,
to make hearts flutter frilly.

I don't want to think of bad things
of pain, loss, and yesterday's goodbye,
up so early in the morning, thinking
I want to laugh so I don't cry.
