I left you my bed
when I wasn’t good enough to share it with you
I guess I wasn’t good enough for the couch either
because when I left
to get some sleep for once
you said no, stay here,
and sleep on the floor, in case I need you.

...it's always sudden...

Wow!  Good poem -- that's cold!  You made me laugh, but my heart went out to you too.  Welcome to PiP.  Thank you for sharing; I really like this poem.
