Lawd ! Its hot ! Birds walkin' 'round to stay clear of da sky and d' hot sun beatin' down Lawd ! Its hot ! Crick aint even wet Catfish jus' hangin' on by swimmin' in dey sweat. Lawd ! Its hot ! I been wearin' tractive things Like blue... to draw da skeeters So's dey kin fan me wid dey wings Lawd ! Its hot ! Crawdads in da stream Already been steamed Lawd ! Its hot ! I'm glad I'm redeemed ! |

more then this taking me through the long hours of the heat of today, this took me back in history, to the swealthering southern states, when they wore heavy cloths way up to their necks...and down to their toes, covered up EVERYTHING...and it made me think, how horribly hot it must have been then, think about the cloth and materials that were available...surely hot hot hot, gwad, no air conditioning...how did THEY put up with it...because they had to right? enjoyed this and you Africa hot |
