![]() 5524 All of Her Beauty 14 July 2006 All of her beauty and not enough to touch Her life and his, distance bound To love her, to desire her hold Everything and anything if finally his love of her was found Time never stationary as to the train upon life’s track Hunger, emptiness, her morsel, his snack Railways, aircraft and the sun just to know under the moon, she was one Angels of mercy, angels of birth would the sun ever shine to her in every value of worth Another day, another death a father to child, children born To die a lonely man, to die of scorn “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.” Psalms 138: 7 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
