To my dear friend and my darling dog .... After A While, Crocodile Life sometimes sneaks by so quietly like the current of a shallow, lazy river The clouds silently roll over fields of green the haunting cry of a loon makes me shiver Nothing catches my seeking eyes as I look to see what the next gift will be I can hear the raspy call of a duck flying under the umbrella of an old birch tree I feel you close, pressed against my thigh Your next journey has not yet truly begun A warm tongue reaches out to lick my hand to reassure me that our time is not done. We both know that this time is no longer ours We will soon hug and sadly part our ways Your journey will take you so far away from me We won't meet for many again for many long days. Love does not end when a chapter closes You and I are forever a team. When I close my eyes, I'll still feel you When I sleep, you'll be in my dreams. Thank you for what you lent to me you raced through this life with a smile Thank you for the friend that you became I'll see you after a while, Crocodile. aziza |

awww, sorry! I know from personal experience how tough it can be to lose a dog!!! |

Thank you, Billy. She was one of the most special animals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was beautiful, smart, had a wonderful sense of humor and I learned so much from her. aziza |
