We assume that life is long & lingering. Years upon years..smiles upon smiles. Walking into sunsets...attics full of memories. Silver in our hair. But life is a light switch. At 2 or 102. The switch can be flipped off at anytime. On any day. At any minute. Sometimes the switch is held back, by an unseen hand. And lights continue to flicker & shine bright. Life goes on. And family sits around a table, through a window in the glow. ....and things are in the attic. |

Sometimes we need to bring those things out of the attic and live them. Much enjoyed your philosophical poem - well put and so true. - Owl |

Thanks Owl..I wrote that one after my husbands illness/surgeries. He was pretty bad & the doctors are amazed he's doing so well now. |
