I don’t know what it is
about you
that attracts me so deeply…
perhaps it is your
eyes
that speak right to my
heart ,
or your warm gentle touch
that releases a million
butterflies into my
soul.
Or perhaps it is the
rhythm, the
melody
of your innocent, yet
contagious laughter
that brings me to
smile.
Whatever it is,
you make me feel
weak,
vulnerable…
an overwhelming, uncontrollable
force
that is uncomfortable, yet
compelling,
captivating,
pulling me ever so closer.
Whenever you are near
I lose grasp of
wrong and right
and get completely
lost
in you
I know I should
let go, move on…but I
can’t
And I don’t know whether what’s
keeping me here is
my owl foolish stubbornness…or
fate.

Beautiful, Rachel, and I love that ending.
