Hey everyone. Haven't been here in a while, thought it may be fun to visit again. Here's something I wrote the other day, hope you like it. I watched you, through a stained lens of pity, I know it's wrong, but you deserved it, and it's about time you got what you had coming. And when you asked me for a bag, you know I did what I could, brought it with a smile, didn't do any good, it was worth a try- saddest little girl I ever saw. When you left me alone, by your table, puzzled look on my face, I'd stumbled upon a momento, and I keep them here, in my bag, thinking maybe she remebered. I'd like to give them back, but I know I'll never see you. And on the ride home, held them clumsily in my fingers, ungrateful, undeserving, don't belong in my hands, but I'll keep them, I'll keep them. |

whew, this was indeed a bittersweet memory, the entire poem draws you in, makes you want more...I marveled at the way you hold no bitterness, but in fact keep all things in perspective...a real relationship of love and understanding remembers how you were influenced...they say the last memories of a person, the last time you see them, walk by your side the rest of your life, I think it's true. Enjoyed this and your concept |
