Growing A Relationship

On a bench in the mall
I see a woman resting
her head upon her
mans shoulder.
He reading a book,
she with eyes closed,
upon her face
a contented look.
And I have to admire
these two, for knowing
how to grow a relationship.

Wish I had written this,
after watching an older couple
walk hand in hand
on a weekday afternoon

in no hurry, no rush...
just enjoying the braiding
of fingers...

Oh my James..this is precious.
I love to watch people at the mall
and it is a joy to see a couple so close as this.
