The Little Things… It’s the little things you do so much better than the rest, A suture that heals past wounds committed by others When I trusted more, only to be loved less Expecting actions and reactions to my own expectations Only to receive dissatisfaction and selfish satisfaction, Benefiting neither the rose that blooms for the next day Or the lonely heart being embraced by a deceitful lover… But it is the little things you do so much better than the rest That has me looking forward to sharing a future of happiness, With a wonderful woman who loves me for me.
